Privacy policy

South Coast respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote, book a measure, call, email or message us, we collect the details you give us: your name, phone number, email address, address or suburb, details of your project, and any photos, plans or files you send. When you accept a quote online we also record your acceptance and the date of it.

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a measure
  • To prepare quotes, invoices and receipts
  • To make, deliver and install your wardrobes, cabinets or shower screens
  • To provide after-sales service, repairs and warranty work
  • To keep the records the law requires, such as tax records

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we only send you marketing if you have asked for it.

Who we share it with

Only with the people who help us do the job, such as installers, glaziers and suppliers who need your address or measurements, and the providers of the services we run our business on (for example email, website hosting and accounting). They may only use it for that purpose.

Website and cookies

Our website may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. These collect information such as the pages visited and the type of device used, not your name. You can block cookies in your browser settings. The website remembers an unfinished quote form on your own device so you don’t lose it; clearing your browser data removes it.

How we keep it safe

We store information on secure, password-protected systems and keep it only as long as we need it for the reasons above or as the law requires.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by calling 0421 005 591 or emailing info@southcoastwardrobes.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
