What changes the price
Size and layout
More linear metres of cabinetry, an island, or a butler’s pantry add the most. Keeping plumbing and gas where they are saves trade costs.
Door finish
Laminates and Polytec boards are the most economical; 2-pac polyurethane and timber veneer cost more because of the finishing work.
Benchtop
Laminate is the cheapest; silica-free surfaces, porcelain and natural stone rise in price with thickness, waterfall ends and cut-outs.
Hardware and inserts
Full-extension drawers, lift-up doors, pull-out pantries and drawer inserts make a kitchen easier to use and add to the cabinetry cost.
Appliances
Usually supplied by you. Integrated fridges and dishwashers need panels made to suit, which we include in the joinery price.
