Custom joinery FAQs

How much does a custom kitchen cost in Wollongong?

Most custom kitchens we make fall between about $14,000 and $25,000, with premium kitchens with islands and butler’s pantries above that. See our kitchen cost guide for what drives the price, then book a free measure and quote for an exact figure.

Is the measure and quote really free?

Yes. We visit, measure, talk through what you want and send a written quote with no obligation.

How long does custom joinery take?

Typically six to eight weeks for manufacture after you approve the drawings, plus one to two weeks for design. Installation takes a few days for most jobs.

Do you design, or do I need a designer?

We design in-house and show you 3D drawings before anything is made. We also work happily from plans by your architect, interior designer or builder.

What areas do you service?

Wollongong, Shellharbour, Kiama and the wider Illawarra, from Stanwell Park to Gerringong and out to Albion Park and Dapto.

What materials do you use?

Moisture-resistant board for carcasses, Polytec and Laminex boards, 2-pac polyurethane, timber veneers and solid timber, with Blum hardware and stone, porcelain, timber or laminate benchtops.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. All our joinery carries a workmanship warranty, and hardware is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Ask us for the details with your quote.

Do you work with builders and architects?

Yes. We provide CAD shop drawings, CNC manufacture and installation for builders, architects and designers, and drafting as a standalone service.

How do I look after 2-pac and stone surfaces?

Wipe with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent, dry spills promptly, and avoid abrasive cleaners. We give you care instructions for your finishes at handover.
